DOUBLE CHIN

Fat deposit under the Chin always makes a person look unnecessarily older. Add to that the fat under the jawline and you have a real problem. Whatever the age group you are in, these fat deposits will not respond well to exercise. Weight loss program is usually not that helpful either.

Nowadays there are 3 ways you can deal with the problem.

Bruising for 4-5 days and needing to wear a Chin support for 3 days. Only one procedure is necessary for the vast majority of cases.
• The next method is the injection of a chemical product into the fat deposit. There are several brands of this product and all require multiple treatments because the product can only reduce a small amount of fat at a time. So you will need to return for repeat injections every 4-6 weeks. Normally 2-4 treatments are recommended. In some cases where the fat deposit is not too large success has been achieved in one treatment and in others more than 4 treatments are required. The downside is that no one can accurately predict how many treatments you really need to get a good result. The other downside is the pain and swelling in the treated area that can last for 2 or more weeks after each treatment.
• The third method is the use of an RF Device, a machine that emits Radio Frequency waves that can heat up the skin to produce tightening resulting in the improvement in the Chin. It can treat the small double chin well but it is not always that predictable either for the bigger fat deposits. There is a degree of pain associated with this treatment too.
